Enrolling our charter class in August 2009, the UCF COM will be fully integrated into Central Florida's healthcare and medical research community.  UCF COM will be the premier medical school born in the 21st century.  By partnering with Orlando Regional Hospital and Florida Hospital systems, the new Veterans Affairs and Nemours Hospitals, UCF students will have 17 major hospitals available for clinical training in all specialties of medicine.  Central Florida has embraced the UCFCOM and each member of our first class should receive a Charter Class Scholarship which will cover tuition, fees, and conservative living expenses valued at $40,000 a year for each year. 

    The College of Medicine pursues excellence in education, research, healthcare delivery, and promotion of health for the public good.  In an environment of academic scholarship, diversity, partnership, and opportunity, we educate individuals to become exemplary physicians, leaders in medicine, scholars in discovery, and innovators in technology.  We conduct basic and applied research to further the understanding and treatment of disease, improve the delivery of healthcare, and enhance the conduct of medical education.
